Core Privacy Principle: ChatVibe processes selected chat content only to deliver the AI analysis you request. We do not store chat message content on our servers after processing is completed. Chat content is processed in memory only for the duration of the requested analysis.
1. Information We Collect
We collect only the information reasonably necessary to provide the Service, secure it, and improve it.
A. Information You Provide or Authorize Us to Access
Authentication Data: When you sign in with Telegram, we may process your phone number, verification code, and, if required for your Telegram account, password.
Telegram Account and Chat Data: When you connect your Telegram account and choose a chat for analysis, we process the selected chat messages, participant names or display names, message dates, message identifiers, reply information, forwarded message information, chat type, and related message metadata needed to perform the requested analysis.
Analysis Request Data: We process your selected analysis settings, such as analysis type, tone, language, and any custom prompt you explicitly submit through the app.
Support Communications: If you contact us, we may process the information you include in your message to respond to your request.
B. Information Collected Automatically
Device and App Data: We process technical information such as platform or device type (for example, iOS, Android, or Web), app event data, and an app installation identifier used for analytics, reliability, and abuse prevention.
Usage Data: We process in-app event metrics, such as screens viewed, features used, and analysis actions, to understand product usage and improve the Service.
Network Data: Our backend may receive network-level information such as IP address when requests are made to our servers.
2. How We Collect Information
Directly from you when you sign in, connect Telegram, choose a chat, request an analysis, interact with the app, or contact us.
From your Telegram account after you authorize access and select content to analyze.
Automatically from the app and our backend infrastructure when you use the Service.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use information collected through ChatVibe to:
Authenticate you and maintain your session.
Connect to your Telegram account and retrieve the chats you select.
Generate AI-powered chat analysis, insights, and recommendations.
Operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the Service.
Respond to support requests and comply with legal obligations.
4. When and With Whom We Share Information
We do not sell your personal data. We share information only in the limited situations described below.
A. OpenAI
When you explicitly request an AI analysis in the app, ChatVibe sends analysis-related data to OpenAI, our third-party AI service provider, for the sole purpose of generating the analysis you requested.
The information shared with OpenAI may include:
selected chat messages;
participant names or display names;
message dates, identifiers, reply information, forwarded message information, and similar message metadata relevant to analysis;
your selected analysis settings, such as analysis type, tone, language, and any custom prompt you provide.
We share this information with OpenAI only after the user requests analysis and grants the required in-app permission. We use data processing protections and contractual safeguards for this third-party processing and require service providers we use to protect user data with safeguards that are the same as or substantially similar to the protections described in this Privacy Policy.
B. Service Providers and Infrastructure
We may use service providers to host, secure, maintain, or monitor the Service. These providers may process limited technical or operational data only as needed to provide services to us.
C. Legal and Corporate Events
Legal Obligations: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, subpoena, or other valid legal process.
Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, financing due diligence, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to appropriate confidentiality and legal protections.
5. In-App Permission Before AI Processing
Before ChatVibe sends personal data to OpenAI for AI analysis, the app provides a clear in-app disclosure that explains what data will be sent, identifies OpenAI as the third-party AI provider, and asks for your permission. If you do not grant permission, the selected chat data will not be sent for AI analysis.
6. Data Retention
Chat Message Content: We do not store chat message content on our servers after processing is completed. Selected chat content is processed in memory only for the duration of the requested analysis.
Session and Account-Related Data: We retain session and authentication-related data only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide access to the Service and maintain security.
Analytics and Technical Data: We may retain app usage metrics, installation identifiers, and technical logs for security, diagnostics, abuse prevention, and product improvement for as long as reasonably necessary for those purposes.
7. Data Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal data against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no system can be guaranteed to be 100% secure, and you use the Service at your own risk.
8. Your Choices and Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights related to your personal data, including the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing, and the right to data portability where applicable.
Log Out: You may log out of ChatVibe at any time.
Revoke Telegram Access: You can revoke ChatVibe's access to your Telegram account through Telegram's active sessions or security settings.
Consent for AI Analysis: You can decline in-app permission for AI analysis, in which case chat data will not be sent to OpenAI for that purpose.

9. Children's Privacy
ChatVibe is not directed to children under the age of 13, or under a higher age threshold where required by applicable law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law. If you believe a child has provided personal data through the Service, please contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
10. International Processing
Your information may be processed in countries other than the one in which you live, including where our service providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international data transfers.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technologies, legal requirements, or other operational needs. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date above. Material changes may also be communicated through the app or by other appropriate means.
